
Packaging & Branding
There are a lot of cross functional skills between the design disciplines and whilst my own background originated in product design, during my career, I have managed and art directed teams of graphic designers on packaging and rebranding projects. This has involved managing stakeholders and timelines, researching and benchmarking against market leaders, working with external 3rd parties and design agencies and inspiring, coaching and mentoring team members to achieve a world class result.
I have been tasked with delivering many packaging projects that have involved working in a collaborative team environment, and I have found I have a particular ability to manage, inspire and guide team members.
From working on creating new packaging styles for own brands, brainstorming new ideas for brand names and logos, conducting legal checking for new I.P. to overseeing a holistic approach to the marketing materials associated with new product launches.
This section shows a selection of this type of collaborative work where I cannot claim design ownership for individual artworks but instead I have taken a strategic role.
